WAUSAU, Wis. (WXCO) – Under the new district maps, Felzkowski is gunning for Wisconsin’s 12th Senate District that includes parts of Marathon County.
State Senator Mary Felzkowski (R-Tomahawk) announced she will be running for re-election in November for Wisconsin’s 12th Senate District.
Under the new district maps, the 12th Senate District includes all of Florence, Forest, Langlade, Lincoln, Marinette, Oneida and Vilas Counties. As well as parts of Oconto, Marathon and Shawano Counties.
Senator Felzkowski was previously elected to represent the 35th Assembly District in 2012. She served four two-year terms in the Assembly.
Felzkowski was elected to the State Senate in 2020 and is now a member of the Joint Finance Committee.
Felzkowski’s new term would run for four years, beginning in January of 2025 through 2028.
“I’ve been extremely honored to have the opportunity to represent the people of northern Wisconsin in Madison, and I hope to earn your vote as we continue to fight for lower taxes, smaller government, less burdensome regulations and strong conservative values,” said Felzkowski.
Senator Felzkowski has signed 26 bills throughout the last four years that were signed into law by Governor Evers.
