MADISON, Wis. (WMDX) – You can vote on the next special batch flavor of Chocolate Shoppe ice cream.
The Madison-based company is holding its yearly Create A Flavor contest. Previous winners include Ube Chai, Exhausted Parent, and This $%@! Just got Serious.
Anybody can send in their idea for a new flavor of ice cream. They got more than 3,000 submissions.
Now, the public can vote on three finalists. Those flavors are:
- Apple Cider Donut
- Dulce de Leche Churro
- Red Velvet Revival
After a winning flavor is chosen, staff from Chocolate Shoppe will start to make it a reality. The company will partner with the Goodman Community Center’s TEENworks Culinary Arts program. The teens will help develop the flavor, and help with the most important job: taste-testing.
Voting ends on September 25. Chocolate Shoppe will announce the winner on September 27. The winning flavor will be part of a special single-batch release next summer.
