Rain barrels available for the Wausau area

WAUSAU, Wis. (WXCO) – The “Wauter Savvy” Campaign is offering residents discounted rain barrels. Here’s how to order one even if you don’t live in Wausau.

Rain barrels are now available for the Wausau community.

It’s a part of their “Wauter Savvy” Campaign.

Wausau residents can get a discounted rain barrel for $51-dollars.

Non-residents can grab one too, but it’ll cost $76-dollars.

Wausau Water Works will subsidize the purchase of the rain barrels for
city residents and non-residents may purchase at the discounted price.

Rain barrels may be ordered online here through the City’s partner Rain
Water Solutions.

Order early, the last day to place an order is Wednesday April 24th. 

All barrels will be delivered to Wausau Water Works and you
can get them at the scheduled pick-up event.

The “Rain Barrel Pick Up Event” will be held on:

Tuesday May 7th from 3pm-7pm

Wednesday May 8th from 3pm-7pm
